Sales Support/ Marketing Support Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Support/ Marketing Support Coordinator. This is a unique temp to perm opportunity with a cloud automation technology company in Palo Alto! If you are looking to join a young, dynamic and team-oriented work environment and have skills in customer service, lead generation and sales support, this is the job for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for supporting the sales team for a temp to perm opportunity
  • Heavy lead generation, so you should be OK with being on a headset for a majority of the day
  • Preparing reports and handling mailings
  • Compliance Assurance and Management
  • Charged with supporting and improving the sales process, sales information, customer intelligence, sales reporting & analysis and reporting tools to achieve organizational goals
  • Data research, entry and maintenance including use of Excel
  • Generating service renewal sales quotes and managing customer accounts using sales database systems

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be enthusiastic, energetic, competitive and a quick learner
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales and/or media industry (internship experience OK)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong time management and organizational skills; research/analytical skills also required

Sales Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer (SE) to work with our Sales team in the field to develop account-gaining strategies and provide required product sales support to close business successfully. Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. SEs are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for Skydera C3.

What you will be doing:

This is a technical position. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users (equally talented in telling a story to our business users as well as credible in-depth technical discussions with technology experts). Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts and develop/position solutions to address concerns. Must be able to establish strong relationships early in the sales cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Development and delivery of product demonstrations
  • Representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs (experienced Sales Engineers are successful at addressing client needs during very competitive RFI/RFPs)
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams/li>
  • Travel throughout sales territory
  • Successful conceptualizing and communicating about how products and services affect opportunities and sales exposure within an organization and the Enterprise IT space
  • Previous administrative or data entry experience
  • Comfortable in designing and delivering product presentations based on each competitive sales condition

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports

DevOps -- Linux

We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps engineer to help us bring our infrastructure to the next level. Technologies you will work with on a day-to-day basis include Python, Ruby, Chief, Puppet, Amazon EC2, Rackspace Cloud, VMWare.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Monitor application, network, and server performance on hundreds of nodes in several locations
  • Design fault tolerant infrastructure service to scale with our rapidly growing list of customers
  • Build tools and help design procedures for smooth operation on a large scale

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience administering production Linux services
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Understanding of HTTP protocol and web server configuration experience
  • Experience writing scripts and or tools for automating in Python, Ruby or PERL
  • A solid understanding of performance metrics for the OS and applications in general
  • Production experience with Chief and Fabric

Software Engineer -- Frontend

Software Engineer -- Backend

We are looking for a highly motivated developer to join our backend development team. We're looking for someone that can write code. Clean, elegant, practical, well-covered code - primarily in Python. Someone that works well with other people, who you will learn from -- who are dedicated to improving each other's craft. Take pride in your code. You wouldn't hesitate to perform production support for stuff you've built. Proactively fix bugs and solve problems. You die inside a little every time someone else finds a bug in your code, and work tirelessly on (occasional) time sensitive issues that crop up. Contribute to a service that will help millions of people solve problems & make them happy.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Take pride in writing modular, clean, simple, maintainable, well documented, code.
  • You've contributed to the back end of a database-driven website that's seen some scale.
  • Excellence derived from your talent, not expertise with specific tools or technology.
  • You prefer small, agile teams that push regularly. You are fine with wearing a dunce hat when you break the build. You're okay working on production systems with little or no QA support.
  • Lifelong learner. Love to experiment and iterate. Energetic. Pragmatic. Get things done. An independent team player. Not afraid to ask for help
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer engineering, computer science, information systems or related field.

PREFERRED:

  • Python fluency. If you work with us, you'll mostly hack in Python. Expertise with Django or other web frameworks would be great.
  • A strong foundation in computer engineering, computer science, information systems and/or math - MS, PhD.
  • Expertise in data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis. You enjoy database schema design. You've done performance optimization
  • APIs: You've built and supported your own. You've built and maintained integrations with other people's.
  • Open source contributions that have been used by thousands of other developers.
