Our Story
In 2008, Lecole Cole was working as an engineering director for a Silicon Valley technology company by day, and thinking about how to build his own company by night. He realized that there was an easier way for companies to manage their servers, bringing IT management of multiple platforms, machines and applications together in the cloud. He eventually gave up the late night coffee shop shuffle to join a group of other local developers and technically minded hackers at Hacker Dojo, a Mountain View non-profit workspace and always-open "community center" for technical creativity. Working in his spare time among like-minded entrepreneurs, Lecole started to create the application and service structure that would eventually become Skydera. To help cultivate Skydera, Lecole applied and was accepted into the Founder Institute, an incubator program geared to train individuals that want to start companies and make them into world class business. Nearly two years later, Lecole is now the CEO of his own company and is excited that the reactions to his ideas and products are positive and that interest in Skydera is growing around the world.
